Dr. Lima as the new Epidemiology/Public Health Representative for The CAHR Board of Directors

 

The Canadian Association for HIV Research (CAHR) Board of Directors has elected Dr. Viviane Lima as their new Epidemiology/Public Health Representative. Dr. Lima’s two-year term on the Board commences upon the conclusion of the 2021 CAHR Conference on May 7, 2021, succeeding current Representative – Dr. Angela Kaida of Simon Fraser University. Founded in 1991, CAHR is the leading organization of HIV/AIDS researchers in Canada and the organizer of the Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR Conference). CAHR fosters collaborations among researchers across HIV research disciplines and engages people living with HIV, community organizations and other stakeholders to promote excellent and responsive HIV research. Congratulations to Dr. Lima on her new leadership role!
